Volcanic Vessel II

This piece is hand-built, coiled and mid-fired. It is finished in white glaze on the interior and a volcanic glaze on the exterior. Where the two glazes interact, magic happens. In this case, the mix of glazes during the firing resulted in beautiful blue tones. 11.5 inches in diameter and 9 inches tall.
